Blog #005: Hanging Out at Sessions Hub Cafe

There are sooo many cafés in Baguio City, that’s a fact. But, if you’re a first-timer tourist, you’ll probably not notice it right away since most of these cafés are kind of hidden within buildings (specifically in Session area).

The night my Ate and I tried the Korean Palace restaurant (read my blog here), we also went to a café named Sessions Hub Cafe inside Prime Hotel . The landmarks that will lead you there is the crossing, Jollibee, and the drugstore that you’re going to enter and pass by since the entrance for the café is inside. If you’re not familiar with Session Road, do ride a taxi and ask him to go to Prime Hotel.

Hindi ko na-picture-an ang labas since biglaan lang na dinala ko ro’n si Ate. It’s already my second time being at Session’s Hub and the first time was my birthday celeb last December 2016.

Here are some snapshots of their menu:

The prices are average— not too expensive, not that cheap— but the best part here is their place.

Inside Sessions Hub Cafe, it’s so comfy and homey. The wall (below) filled with sticky notes is the first thing you’ll probably notice as you enter.

My Ate and I positioned in the spot where you can sit/squat (or lie). Nagtanggal kami ng shoes since may fluffy carpet/blanket dito sa spot na ‘to. Good thing, walang tao at solo namin halos ang lugar (again, LOL) kaya nakahilata kami nang bongga.

The place is not that big nor that small. Going to their color scheme, it’s so vibrant and cute— for short, very instagrammable.

Since busog na busog pa kami ni Ate galing Korean Palace, we just ordered Americano and Choco Butterscoth Cookie.

While sipping your drink, you can also play with your friends here. Mayroon silang mga board games at kiddie games like the one we played— Bad Dog— pampalipas-oras. You just need to give your ID as a “collateral.”

All things fluffy are inside, too, that can give you some company if ever you’re alone. 🐻

The paintings hanging inside are made by local artists of Baguio, I think. If ever you liked one, you can inquire in the counter because it’s all on sale!

Before leaving, nag-order na lang kami ni Ate ng isang Kiwi shake something (I forgot the exact name). Anyway, this one is very refreshing at kahit umuulan na, summer feels pa rin with this one.

Overall, it was a good place to hang out with friends. Friendly rin ang mga tao sa counter. If you’re looking for a comfy indoor and instagrammable place, this one is a good find for you.

[Sessions Hub Cafe is located at 2nd Floor Gamaphel Building, Session Road, Baguio City. (Beside Prime Hotel)]
